Recently, the Indian Revenue Intelligence Service (DRI) seized illegal e-cigarettes worth 480 million Indian rupees (1 Indian rupee is about 0.087 yuan; ≈ 41.76 million yuan) from the port of Mundra. This is the second e-cigarette smuggling case recently seized by DRI. On September 4, they seized a batch of e-cigarettes worth INR 200 million.
Since 2019, India has banned the manufacture, import and export, advertising marketing and distribution sales of electronic cigarettes.
