On July 11, Altroconsumo, an authoritative Italian consumer organization, said on its official website that they had purchased 15 Electronic cigarette of different brands in Electronic cigarette's official online store and e-commerce platform for testing. The brands of these products include BECOMATE, ELFBAR, GEEKBAR, LIKBAR, PUFF BAR, REVOLTAGE, SALT SWITCH, VUSE, X-BAR.

The test results show that only the Electronic cigarette of ELFBAR, VUSE, BECOMATE, GEEKBAR and LIKBAR have passed the compliance certification of the Customs and Monopoly Bureau (Adm) and can be legally sold in Italy. The Electronic cigarette of PUFF BAR, REVOLTAGE, SALT SWITCH and X-BAR has not passed the compliance certification, but also has problems such as excessive nicotine content and no warning label.

Altroconsumo stated that they have submitted the violation of this product to the Italian Customs and Monopoly Bureau, the Ministry of Enterprise and Manufacturing, and the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security.

Only 5 of the 15 Electronic cigarette have been certified for compliance

Of the 15 Electronic cigarette, only 5 (Electronic cigarette from ELFBAR, VUSE, BECOMATE, GEEKBAR and LIKBAR) bear the compliance certification mark of the Customs and Monopoly Bureau.

The remaining 10 cigarettes (Electronic cigarette from PUFF BAR, REVOLTAGE, SALT SWITCH, X-BAR) are not registered with the Customs and Monopoly Bureau, and cannot be sold in Italy, but they can still be purchased in the official Electronic cigarette online store and e-commerce platform without any age verification. This includes the Amazon platform, and Altroconsumo wrote in the article:

PUFF BAR's three products contain excessive levels of tobacco oil

According to the test results, PUFF BAR's three Electronic cigarette (PUFF BAR Mango, PUFF BAR Flow>Lychee Ice, PUFF BAR Plus Lychee Ice) not only have no compliance certification mark, but also have nicotine content and tank capacity exceeding the standard.

The nicotine content on the Puff Bar Mango label is 5% (equivalent to 50 milligrams per milliliter of tobacco oil), while the legal maximum limit is 2%
