As an alternative to JUUL pods, Puff Bar disposable e-cigarettes are becoming more and more popular among young consumers. The Puff Bar looks like a brightly colored flash drive, offering synthetic nicotine in flavors like Blue Razz and Cool Mint. These appealing flavor descriptions have raised concerns that Puff Bar e-cigarettes are designed to appeal to young people.
The company voluntarily stopped sales in July 2020 amid criticism of youth use of Puff Bar e-cigarettes. A week later, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration reportedly banned Puff Bars in the United States.
In response, the company began producing Puff Bar e-cigarettes containing synthetic nicotine, which the FDA reportedly does not have the authority to regulate.
Dangers of Puff Bar may include damage to the lungs and heart. Some consumers also allegedly experienced Puff Bar seizures and/or nicotine addiction. Young people who use e-cigarettes can damage their developing brains and may suffer neurological damage, according to reports.
Disposable e-cigarette Puff Bars can also cause other significant side effects, including lung damage, nicotine addiction, heart-related damage and seizures.
Who is eligible:
If you or a loved one have experienced Puff Bar side effects such as lung damage, cardiovascular damage, seizures and/or being treated for nicotine addiction, you may be eligible for a class action investigation.
