Recently, in Belgrade, Russia, a batch of 160,000 electronic cigarettes worth 38 million rubles (approximately RMB 3.567 million) were confiscated by customs.

"In these illegal e-cigarettes, the nicotine content exceeds 20 mg/ml, in violation of Section 19 of the Protection of Citizens from the Effects of Smoking, Tobacco Consumption or Nicotine Consumption," said Oleg Lappin, deputy head of customs in Belgrade.
The Kaluga District Court has ruled that smuggling the goods is illegal. The goods were handed over to the Regional Territorial Administration of the Federal State Property Administration of the Kaluga, Bryansk and Smolensk Regions.
