According to a report by Norwegian media Moja Norway on July 2, the Norwegian Ministry of Health has submitted an electronic cigarette regulatory bill due to the increase in the number of young people in the EU who use electronic cigarettes.

In addition, the Ministry of Health is proposing minor changes to the law, such as a clear ban on smoking restrictions to accommodate the many new types of tobacco products appearing on the market, a clear ban on the visible display of tobacco products, and the introduction of consistency to ensure consistency in existing regulations. .



The government tabled the bill on June 9. It will be considered by the parliamentary committee on health and the revised regulations will come into force once passed by parliament.
