The Republican Party of the country stated in a statement that for the health of young people and children, members of the interdepartmental committee voted in favor of a comprehensive ban on the sale, import, export and production of e-cigarettes.
According to Kazakhstan’s finance ministry, sales of e-cigarettes in the country have increased 300-fold in the past two years. In the past few years, the consumption of e-cigarettes by children and teenagers has increased significantly. In two and a half years, Kazakhstan imported about 3 million e-cigarettes.
