The joint operation between the Smuggling and Organized Crime Smuggling and Organized Crime Unit (KOM) of the Ankara Provincial Gendarmerie Command and the Temeli Gendarmerie Post has achieved important results. Near Maliköy Mahallesi in the Sincan district, a warehouse suspected of illegally selling e-cigarettes was targeted. The joint operation was launched after an in-depth investigation of the warehouse, aimed at eliminating this potential e-cigarette smuggling ring.



After careful planning and tracking, law enforcement officers managed to seize a large quantity of illegal e-cigarettes worth 245,000 Turkish liras in this operation. During the operation, law enforcement officers not only successfully seized a large number of illegal e-cigarettes, but also captured a suspect suspected of illegally selling e-cigarettes.


 


According to the relevant laws and regulations, criminal proceedings have been initiated against the suspect to hold him accountable for his illegal acts.
