Large quantities of e-cigarettes seized in Vietnam

A large number of e-cigarette products whose origins cannot be traced have been seized in Bac Ninh City, Vietnam. Chaotic market supervision has put citizens' health at risk.

According to a report by Vietnamese media VietnamNet on December 27, the public security department of Bac Ninh City in Vietnam (Bac Ninh Province) recently stated that they jointly conducted an inspection with the market management team and found a large number of e-cigarette oil incineration tips without invoices and certificates of origin.

During the inspection, the warehouse representative failed to produce business licenses, invoices, and documents proving the origin of the warehouse goods. He also admitted that these raw e-liquids and machines had never been available, but were processed and packaged in the warehouse and then sold to the market. .

Relevant administrative departments have temporarily seized nearly 400,000 finished cigarette butts, more than 300 bottles of various e-liquids and many related equipment to continue investigation, clarification and handling in accordance with the law.
